WHAT TIME TO FOLLOW FOR YOUR FITTINGS

The sooner you make an appointment for your fitting, the better. Try to make an appointment for your first fitting as soon as you buy your dress or at least 8 to 10 weeks before the wedding. The majority of brides have three to four fittings, but this depends on the number of alterations. With each fitting, your wedding dress will be more and more sculpted to your body, and after the second fitting, you will have a better idea of how it will fit you. Your seamstress will help you establish a fitting schedule according to the date of your wedding. At a minimum, your last fitting will be one month after your first fitting. Ideally, you will have two to three months between your first and your last try-on.
